Frohe Weihnachten!

Dieser Anblick kam mir gerade kurz nach dem Aufstehen entgegen: Schnee am Ostermontag! Meine Mum meinte zwar das die Hälfte schon wieder weg getaut wäre, aber es soll heute nochmal schneien. Fehlt nur noch, dass die Schule, die Donnerstag eigentlich wieder anfangen sollte, aufgrund von Glatteis ausfällt In diesem Sinne: Frohe Weihnachten!

The Last Man

Holy crap! Was this just the last episode? Come one guys – what do you really take me for? But yes, it’s true – the last man was the end of this season. And it was amazing! Remember this blog? September, 26th season four of Stargate Atlantis started. I didn’t know how [inspic=1590,left,,0]to feel: Amanda Tapping as Lt. Col./Dr. Samantha Carter – first thought: woohuuu! Second thought: what is this now – Stargate SG-1 in Atlantis? But everything gone all right. Sam wasn’t the same as in SG-1 but still our Carter and she did a great job. A few weeks before christmas I blogged “Von Pegasus zu Oceanic Flight 815” and the first ten episodes of SGA were shown on tv. It was time of the so called “Mid-Season-Break”. To that point, I hate that season. Nothing exceeding happend. Only episode “This Mortal Coil” mades things hum and me more interessed. In Janaury everything went wonderfull and now at this point I can say: “Mr. Mallozzi, I want to see season five now!!!” It was a great season final this evening with lots of questions. How did it go on. Did they survive – or just beam out from phoenix or maybe McKay opens a little timeline bubble? Good news: season five returns into summer. Bad news: when we’ll have to wait a whole year for six. To be contunied.

Next date is in May, when “The Ark of Truth” will be released with region code 2. All US-Fans: I hate you ^^ and I do not want to be spoiled!

Und dabei hatte ich ihr ausdrücklich gesagt, sie solle das ganze bitte nicht in der ganzen Öffentlichkeit präsentieren. Naja, nun weiß es ja eh schon die halbe Welt…

Nebenbei, der Film ist eigentlich ganz witzig gemacht, basiert aber auf Sendungen des amerikanischen Fernsehens und ist ist eine Persiflage des Films 300. Soll heißen: es werden viele Sendungen & Personen aus den USA “auf die Schippe” genommen, wie zum Beispiel Paris Hilton und American Idol. Diese gibt es oftmals auch in Deutschland oder stammen sogar von hier. Ulgy Betty ist das USA-Format der “Verliebt in Berlin”-Telenovela. Man sollte sich also doch ein wenig in der TV-Kultur der United States auskennen um den Film in groben Zügen zu verstehen. Manche Sachen können nicht verstanden werden, weil sie falsch oder nicht richtig übersetzt werden. Allgemein hat der Film sehr schlechte Kritiken und Resonanzen bekommen, wie in der IMDB oder auf Moviemaze. Der Film ist zwar in Ordnung, aber zählt meiner Meinung nach mehr zu der Kategorie: “War okay; was machen wir nun?”Wichtig: den Film bitte nicht sofort, nach dem ersten Abspann verlassen – es geht nämlich noch weiter.
